Valentine’s Day Quotes – What concepts by Valentine?
14th of February of the year reminds a word “Valentine’s day” and people think about that Love day is coming and time to the emotions of Love enabling to speak in words with gifting Cards, Flowers, Sweets etc for Love Partner. Love Partner who is one out of large numbers of people but very loving care personality. This day is celebrated especially due to the reason that lover will be satisfied but not only satisfaction but its other side of picture is too much bold. Bold Scenes are displayed at the place of public, clubs, and the same is not better.
Valentine’s Day has become a mainstream commercial success worth about $18.2 billion in the US alone. Of course we’re talking retail sales here, but the fact is singles and couples will be breaking their piggy banks for this 14th of February. And while Valentine’s cards, flowers and chocolate are always a safe bet on this day, experiences will be forever more valuable, and at Weemss we’ve always said that events are all about experience.
In this article we take a quick look at different types of events that focus on the various audiences involved in this day dedicated to love. From events for couples and singles, to events for children whose parents need some “alone time”, here are 9 Valentine’s Day event ideas for your planning inspiration:
1. Community event for kids
This time “when the cat’s away, the mice will play” works both ways. While the kids enjoy a day packed with fun activities in the hands of qualified staff, couples can enjoy some quality alone time together.
If you want to plan an event for kids, there are number of important issues you need to keep in mind:
Do local laws require a specific license or training to organize a kids event?
Is the venue appropriate? (health and safety)
What will be, or will there be a particular age group you will cater to?
Is the schedule and are the activities appropriate for this age group?
Do you have first aid training and supplies?
Will you take dietary precautions with the food?
A good solution may be to team up with a local kindergarten or kids center and their staff for the event. What should be carefully considered here is that parents would probably want to go out in the evening, so you should consider and research during what times your event for children could work out.
2. Private dinner experience
Ok, so now that the kids are taken care of, it’s time to consider the parents, or for that matter any couple that would like an exciting dinner experience for the holiday. It can be a dinner, a lunch, or maybe you would like to target couples celebrating during the weekend rather than the 14th itself. In any case, let your imagination run free and prepare a whole evening experience package. It could include anything from limo pick ups, dinner on a rooftop terrace to a carriage ride through a park or whatever else you think romantic. Better yet, let clients themselves tell you what they want, so you can organize a bespoke experience..
3. Dinner show
Basically, that would be taking a private dinner experiences to the next level. Of course it would require more effort on your part, but a cabaret show, theatrical production, jazz performance or a comedy evening program in the right atmosphere could turn out pretty popular.
4. Singles mixer
Think party, not just a mixer. This one is pretty self-explanatory. Just make sure you create an atmosphere that invites people both to dance but also to talk to each other, you’re not hosting a frat party after all! You can include games to encourage interaction.
5. Special cooking class
If you know of a cooking school that isn’t preparing a Valentine’s Day event, team up with them for an evening of chocolate soufflé and bubbly, an Italian cooking class, anything that is likely to have romantic overtones. Although who knows, “A Beer n’ Burgers Night” may just be the ticket for someone out there!
6. Rosé tasting
Wine tasting accompanied by tasty bites in a romantic atmosphere…What else could a woman want?!
7. Romantic movie screening
A personal favorite here. This can turn out to be a total hit, especially if you’re located somewhere with a warmer climate, so that the event can be taken outside. Imagine puffy pillows, rustic decoration, cute wooden tables, a bottle of wine and canapés… And of course, a classic romantic film like The Philadelphia Story.
8. Masquerade ball
That sounds great to me, but it would also require careful planning. Things like finding an appropriate location that corresponds to the theme might turn out to be exhaustive and frankly, a bit expensive. Yet, if you do decide to host a masquerade ball – please send pictures!
9. Couples dancing lessons
One more opportunity for you to team up! You could organize the class on your own, or with your team, but I do believe that approaching a dance school with the know-how, reputation, venue and experienced teachers, will be much more popular. After a fun hour or rumba, you can host a thematic cocktail party for your guests – let there be rum!
All of these 9 Valentine’s Day events can be combined too, of course. Don’t let this day be all about who’s buying who what, let’s focus on the experience instead.
